This is where my main focus lies. I love looking into people's eyes, try to read their emotions. 

The minutiae of causations. 

I prefer to catch the moments rather than having them pose for me. Ideally, I would love to photo in a biographer way-- I shadow my model for a day, a week, or more, they do whatever they need to do during this period of time, and I just capture the real revelation of their true selves.  

Nature

Like many others, I started off my photography journey with a heavy focus on nature landscapes, These are some early pieces. For ten years I have been using this lense with very wide focal length range, some call it "1-for-all". However my milestone point is summer 2021, invested in a new camera and a new 24-70mm lense, to match my ambition in portraits. 

Personally, I see Nature Photography as two parts: one, the 'organic' beauty of mother nature; two, the photographer's ability to spot it, the ability to capture it, and the necessary skillsets used to express it through medias.

Urban Landscape

'The glint of the train tracks tempt us all.' Said by a friend of mine. I am passionate about railways. They connect rural areas with the urban metropolis. Not only the infinite rails convey enormous power, but also the people on the move, when I walk through train coaches, I see tourists, commuters, people from a diverse background, all squeeze into this one train, as if this is the miniature of the world. 

Whenever I visit a new place, there are three must-go venues: the biggest church, the local museum, the library. I always try to make my photo fruitful, I do this by building a profound knowledge of the area first. How did this land raise these people? How do they past onto generations? What do they worship and what are their belifs? What is the social planner's vision?
